Palefreniére
Service Description
As is well known, "Happiness is on the back of a horse". Since I was 14 I have been working with large livestock at a large farm during the holidays and at the weekend. My duties included feeding the animals, mucking out the stables, riding the horses and driving the cattle to the paddock. In addition, I was allowed to accompany the horse transports to tournaments and assist with veterinary visits. Furthermore, I was able to gain insights into commercial aspects as well as the administration and documentation of vaccinations or pedigrees on the computer. I have already gained experience in care and feeding. That is why I know that it is not just the feeding and care of the animals, but that a large part of the work consists in cleaning the enclosure. I want to help ensure that the animals are as species-friendly as possible and that the breeding programme can be made optimal. Since I enjoy the job as a Palerenière very much, my motivation to keep learning new things about horses is correspondingly great. Dealing with other people is as easy for me as dealing with animals and I enjoy working together in a working group.
